“Wait, is this a two way street?

Can I turn here?” I asked Melissa. With the way I was driving, you’d never know I grew up in Amarillo and used to live in the downtown area. “Eeeee, there’s no place to park.” Thankfully, my sister guided me back to the area I had chose to capture her head shots. We found a parking lot that was unfortunately filled. My sister glanced across that street and exclaimed, “Ooooh, let’s park in there!” She pointed to the parking garage. “Ooooh, let’s go to the top and take some pictures there!” I said. As we drove in cautiously, we followed the arrows for what seemed forever. “I didn’t realize it had this many floors,” Melissa said. “Me neither,” I responded. We finally made it to the top, and found some spots with open shade to capture her beautiful self. Also, can we just stop for a minute and appreciate her beautiful curls???

We were getting some updated head shots for her work profile. She had recently applied for two different positions within the company she works for, and is waiting to hear back on her applications. She wanted these head shots to be more on the casual side, so we made it happen!

Thank you Sister for letting me capture these shots for you! You are so beautiful and such a hard worker! I have no doubt that you will get one of those positions you applied for! You have the greenest thumb I’ve seen. You have a talent for taking plants that seem beyond hope and bring them back to life! I’m thankful for all the fun memories we had growing up from sticking underwear on our heads (don’t worry, they were clean!) to being each other’s maid of honor. I’m thankful for a sister like you! And since I'm posting this on your birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

P.S. I think that means we need to capture some birthday photos next!
