The moment Kim slipped on that burnt orange, long and flowy dress,
Akeem’s eyes lit up. She looked so beautiful. Now we could definitely see Baby Avianna! Her belly popped out more and went perfect with her glowing smile. “Wow! That dress makes everything seem so much real!” Akeem exclaimed. “I can’t believe we’re really about to have our baby girl soon!” He quickly went to her side, wrapped his arm around his bride, and dipped her back for a kiss. I had to agree with him. Kim looked stunning in this second dress. We were able to capture so many precious moments. As we were headed to another side of the park, we saw a security guard. “Park is closed guys. It’s 8:00.” I smiled and said “Yes sir.” Inside though, I thought “Noooo!!!!” Once he walked over the bridge to tell others, I quickly told them in my nervous high-pitched voice “Quick! Over here! Let’s get a couple more!” While Mark kept an eye out for the security guard, I snapped the camera like a madwoman. We finished just in time as the security guard came walking back our way. Poor guy was soaked in sweat from walking to tell the others. We followed him out, and I proceeded to capture just a couple more outside the gate.
The OKC heat and humidity were something else. But Akeem and Kimberly were troops and endured it. From looking at the pictures you’ll never guess we were all dripping sweat and wiping off our sweat mustaches that kept reappearing. It was all worth it though! Will Rogers Park was such a gorgeous place and turned this grown lady into a giddy little girl as I jumped with excitement over all the beautiful greenery and flowers. Coming from Plainview, which is literally a plain view, this park was a photographer’s dream!
Baby Avianna, we are so excited for your arrival!! You are truly a blessing and loved so much already! Your mommy and daddy are eagerly awaiting your arrival!
Akeem and Kimberly, thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious moments!
Mark and I are so excited to see you both become parents to Baby Avianna.
We are so proud of y’all and pray for you daily!
