Hey friend, I'm Stephanie Saavedra
WEDDING, PORTRAIT, AND LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER
Few things about me:
1. I’m married to my best friend, Mark!
2. I love to travel! My husband and I try to go on a mission trip once a year. We've been to Cambodia & Saint Lucia.
3. I'm a sucker for Benito's Hawaiian pizza with Alfredo sauce!
Life is short.
I’m a huge believer in photographing memories with your loved ones and friends as often as you can. Even if they’re not always professionally captured. Capture the memories, not necessarily to always post and print, but simply to have those memories. Memories of grandma & grandpa visiting, those sunflowers that grow on the side of grandma’s house, that special first date with your husband/wife, that moment when your little one takes their first step. I could go on and on with many other special memories! Capture them as often as you can!
Things You Might Not Know About Me:
- Native & Proud Texan!
- I can't live without fuzzy socks.
- Love a good book!
- I enjoy playing the piano.
- Water with mango & strawberries is where it's at!
- I make some pretty good chocolate chip cookies.
What to expect from a session with me
No one ever wants to get in front of the camera with a photographer they don’t really click with. It’s important to vibe with your photographer as well as their shooting and editing style.
I’m a people centered photographer. I’m a big believer in treating others the way you want to be treated! When choosing locations, poses, and my editing style I focus on what will make YOU look the best. I love when skin tones look natural and true to life. My photos do tend to be on the brighter side, but not airy bright. I love working with a pop of color - where the color enhances your portraits but doesn’t take away from you! My work is best described as true to life, vibrant, and capturing you in a timeless way.
Curious to know how I run a session?
When you’re behind my camera, I will capture a mixture of posed and candid images for you. I always start with more traditional poses. The ones that are often hung above the fireplace or put on Christmas cards. As the session progresses, we slowly transition from posed images to candid shots. This is where we capture those special memories. Those genuine smiles, laughs, hugs, and those playful or intimate looks. I want you to have a variety of poses in your gallery!
I’d love to meet you and work together! I can’t wait to capture your special memories!
-Steph
